City Bus

Now
There are fewer stops
And the world flows along
Without yellow tape
Void of
Silent impaling eyes
Retired circus men
Who can guess your
Height and weight
No longer
A body
Pressed into conformity
Dizzying row houses
Rapid eye movement
Alone, I walk
Those cement blocks
Away from
The bellowing growl
of the city bus
Jonah
Exhumed from
The whale
It all began with a Raspberry Starfish...
