Full Moon
And the Moon
Turned His face toward her
And asked "Do I know you?"
And she suddenly felt
Like a cloud, but only less dense
Shuddering, she whispered,
Yes, you know me
You know me better than anyone in the Universe
And suddenly, she could feel the hurt,
Licking at her cheeks
And she wished her eyes would lose their sight of him
But how,
On nights like these
When he is so close,
She can almost touch his face
How can such A full Moon
Feel so empty?
Turned His face toward her
And asked "Do I know you?"
And she suddenly felt
Like a cloud, but only less dense
Shuddering, she whispered,
Yes, you know me
You know me better than anyone in the Universe
And suddenly, she could feel the hurt,
Licking at her cheeks
And she wished her eyes would lose their sight of him
But how,
On nights like these
When he is so close,
She can almost touch his face
How can such A full Moon
Feel so empty?
It all began with a Raspberry Starfish...
