His Universe

The Universe, he gave to her,
And said take care, her step
And when the moonlight stung her eyes,
It held her while she slept.

Roses bloomed without their thorns,
While Eden's gates were crossed.
True love grasped her ivory hands
Until sorrow paid it's cost

Morning came back with the tides
To introduce the Sun
Who stated, "To think she lived the days,
But completed only one!"
