Swan Lake
The Moon,
Called her name
For several hours
Beckoning for her reply
She swam gracefully
Among the stars
Inches toward his light
But remained diligently silent
How can I come to you
When you are so far?
How can I give you a response
To only hear your last breath of me?
I have loved you for such a long time,
Longer than having knowledge of you
Longer than touching your face
Or being bathed in your light
And she deeply
fell
to
sleep
Covered in the Stars
Dreaming of his face
Called her name
For several hours
Beckoning for her reply
She swam gracefully
Among the stars
Inches toward his light
But remained diligently silent
How can I come to you
When you are so far?
How can I give you a response
To only hear your last breath of me?
I have loved you for such a long time,
Longer than having knowledge of you
Longer than touching your face
Or being bathed in your light
And she deeply
fell
to
sleep
Covered in the Stars
Dreaming of his face
It all began with a Raspberry Starfish...
