Chasing the Pie Man
Driving down those dark
Brooklyn streets
At dusk
The misty rain, settling in
Against the old brick
warehouses
Clambering metal poles
Shaking memorials
The patriarch ship men
shed their sweat here
hoisting up their souls
to dry
And we come here, for pie
The Lady, sheds her light
Against the harbor's thick
green rind
A
Key
Lime
Pie
adventure
With the mist of rain
Falling down
trickling against
our cheeks
where else
can romance
live?

It all began with a Raspberry Starfish...
