Dark and Bright
Every time she saw him
She handed him a colorful piece of glass
He thoughtfully looked at them
Turning them over and over in his hands
he thought of her unique gifts
Colored glass
They saw eachother for moments at a time
But they embraced tighter
And loved more deeply
Even the wind knew each of their profiles
Their hands
Their faces
Their laughter
He began to understand the glass
They were not worry stones...
But a gift, only in pieces
He pieced their moments together
Until one day
He knew
Cupping her face,
He grasped her hands
And took her to their home
A house, built with their love
He brought her to the heart of their house
A stained glass window
He had pieced together
The story of their love
She handed him a colorful piece of glass
He thoughtfully looked at them
Turning them over and over in his hands
he thought of her unique gifts
Colored glass
They saw eachother for moments at a time
But they embraced tighter
And loved more deeply
Even the wind knew each of their profiles
Their hands
Their faces
Their laughter
He began to understand the glass
They were not worry stones...
But a gift, only in pieces
He pieced their moments together
Until one day
He knew
Cupping her face,
He grasped her hands
And took her to their home
A house, built with their love
He brought her to the heart of their house
A stained glass window
He had pieced together
The story of their love
It all began with a Raspberry Starfish...
