Reflection (Woman at the Window)

Stirring voices down the hall
Churning pictures on the wall
Love has left her
Saw an Ocean in two eyes
Saw a sail boat lose the wind
Saw a Woman at the window
Beckoning the Moonlight in
And shadows crept to her bedside
And sorrow drew a line
Curving body all alone
Watching her hand extend to dreams
Voices move behind her eyelids
Is it true love beckoning
The daylight streaming in her face
Morning shows the way
Saw a Woman at the window
Whispering for the sun to go away
It's much too painful to watch him stray
Like a lonely leaf, she tumbles
In a graceful way
Stirring voices down the hall
Churning pictures on the wall
He handed her a birthday present
(I took this photograph and had it framed)
And she hung it on the wall
And looked at it a thousand times
Now love has left her
Saw a Woman at the window
Saw a Woman at the window
Saw a Woman at the window...
It all began with a Raspberry Starfish...
